Purpose: This committee will focus on two facets: farmer safety and healthy food options.  Farming is one of the most dangerous careers so we will work to offer meetings and programs that encourage safety for our farmers.  The other focus will be good food choices and the nutritional facts.

Events working on: Local Foods promotions with Dave’s supermarket, “Fresh Friday’s” on social media featuring produce in season, local farmer’s markets and recipes.
